Meet William Hughes

William graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from North Carolina A&T State University and would later go on to receive his real estate and mortgage loan originator licenses.

William decided to enter the banking industry in 2000. He was an integral part in jump-starting the success of the world’s first Internet bank in Atlanta, GA. Later, he served as a Post Closing Specialist and successful Underwriter in the Government Mortgage Department for a major bank in Charlotte NC.

In 2009, William was recruited to join one of the fastest-growing mortgage companies in the country. As one of the top mortgage originators, William piled up accolades including Loan Originator of the Year and a host of other sales and service awards.

William enjoys the challenges of an industry that constantly evolves and takes great pride in making the mortgage process simple for his clients and business partners. He often says, “the most important aspect of any mortgage transaction is working with someone you can trust.” Equipped with over 20 years and thousands of success stories, William has the working knowledge and passion for helping clients meet their financial needs with a variety of mortgage products. William is always available when you need him and has a “can do” attitude. He listens very carefully to his clients and provides honest feedback, so clients are not misled. When he’s not closing mortgage transactions from the east to west coast, William enjoys spending time with his family. Some of his interests include faith-based activities, attending sporting events, golfing, swimming, cooking, investing in real estate, and traveling the world.
